What happens in a reflexology session?. HOME SETUP

What happens in a reflexology session?

Before your first appointment I will send you my consultation form which will ask questions about your health and lifestyle. It’s not too long, don’t worry! It helps me plan your first session and research anything you have written.

I will arrive at your house and either set up my comfy reclining chair or we will have agreed that you would prefer to lie on your bed or sit in your own comfy chair. We will chat through your consultation form or if it’s not your first session we will catch up on how you have felt since your last session.

I’ll ask you to take your socks off, roll your trouser legs up and pop a cosy blanket over you and then I’ll ask you to relax for the next hour while I get to work!

First of all I will give your feet a refresh and then I will apply a lovely soft wax to your feet. I will work over both feet and lower legs, working into various reflexes, helping your feet and your whole body feel rested and relaxed.

The treatment itself will be 45 minutes and at the end of that I will invite you to take three deep breaths and gently wake you up if you have nodded off, many clients do.

I will then fetch you a glass of water and then we will chat through the treatment and discuss any lifestyle tips I feel might benefit you.

Reflexology is such a relaxing and easy treatment to receive.
